get live & local at noosa junction

The Noosa Live & Local Micro-Festival is heading to Noosa Junction this Saturday night, kicking off from 8pm at three venues, Village Bicycle, Mr Drifter & Ze Pickle.

The free event offers a jam-packed weekend of music across Noosa, and is part of the innovative ‘Live & Local’ program being held in five SEQ north regions led by the Creative Arts Alliance (CAA). The Noosa event will employ 20 music makers showcasing their tunes in 10 venues and is supported locally by Noosa Council.

As well performance opportunities, Live & Local is connecting all musicians from the region and any interested venues with two days of free, high-quality professional development delivered in partnership with Queensland’s peak body, QMusic. The Music Industry Professional development sessions are being held on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21 October from 5pm to 7pm at The J in Noosa Junction. All musicians and venues are welcome to this free event and no booking is required.

Noosa’s Live & Local has been driven by local curator Cara Robinson who is passionate about helping local artists grow with their original compositions.

The Live & Local Noosa Micro-Festival gigs are absolutely free and no bookings are required; however there is limited seating so early arrival is recommended. You can expect to see pop-up gigs across Boreen Point, Tewantin, Noosaville and Noosa Junction Saturday October 23, Kin Kin and Cooran Sunday October 24.
